2021 Reunion
Class of 1970
"50" + 1 Reunion
From the Reunion Coordinator, Lynda Ewald:
Dear Class of 1970,
Wow, what a year.
Sadly, we missed our celebration marking 50 years since we last graced the halls of Abraham Lincoln High School.
So, we partied for our 50th Plus 1!
We held the reunion at Brookside Manor at Somerton Springs, on Saturday, October 23, 2021, 6 to 10 PM. We had a fun meet-and-greet hour with hot and cold hors d’oeuvres followed by a buffet and dessert table. We also had a cash bar and a DJ for the evening entertainment.

Class of 1966 - 50th Reunion
113 classmates and many spouses gathered on September 14 at the Cottage Green to celebrate their 50th Reunion. Rev. Bob Carr, flying in from Kenya, asked a blessing on the food served. Rev. Lewis Ruff (from San Francisco) gave an insightful and informative presentation on why our Vietnam vets were not welcomed home. We then honored those Vietnam vets from all branches for their service. (You can read Rev. Ruff's moving presentation below) Rev Dr. Bill Crawford Sr., Pastor of Larchmont Avenue Church, Larchmont N.Y., honored our classmates who have passed away. (The black and white class pictures posted with the reunion pics are of those deceased). The former members of the choir sang "No Man is an Island" -- the song from our graduation night. We also sang the school Alma Mater, written by Lincoln's first principal, Charles H. Williams. Luckily, the DJ had a recording of it, because the school didn't know there was a school song ... Classes of 1965 - 53rd Reunion
The Classes of January and June 1965 held their 53rd Reunion on September 8 with 108 people attending! Live music was performed by three of our former classmates who were professional musicians ..… then a fun prize wheel … then an Elvis impersonator … Great food and drinks and dancing to the oldies by the best DJ ever: DJ-Jimmyk Kelly!
